Rav Avraham Yitzchak Kook taught that t’fillah (prayer) is the bridge between Torah and action because it “softens the heart.” What does this mean, and how can we do it? Let’s experience some t’fillah together, with this intention in mind! We’ll explore the choices in space, song, language, and leadership that make prayer more powerful. Using the tools of mindfulness, good gathering, and our own sacred heritage, we’ll make our t’fillah a powerful, meaningful, and accessible bridge from knowing to doing.
