About me
Rachel Gollay (she/they) is Keshet's Southwest Community Mobilization Manager. She is a community organizer and songwriter based in Fort Worth, Texas.
Their experience in organizing spans across LGBTQ+ advocacy, mutual aid, harm reduction, and reproductive justice. From providing direct support to folks directly impacted, to building out advocacy campaigns, Rachel believes strongly in our interconnected power to effect change and to practice hope as a discipline. She is motivated by vibrant queer and Jewish communities in the South.
Rachel studied English and Radio-TV-Film at TCU, and earned a Master’s degree in Communication and Culture from Indiana University-Bloomington. They are currently a board member and songleader at Makom Shelanu Congregation, an affirming LGBTQ+-led Jewish community in Fort Worth.
