About me
A native Las Vegan who never aspired to be a showgirl, Beri Kaplan Schwitzer devoted her energy to education. After earning a Journalism degree from the University of Nevada, she built a career spanning Jewish education, nonprofit management, and corporate training. Her passion for Jewish learning and history has shaped three decades of leadership. A nationally recognized educator honored by JESNA, she completed the inaugural Educators’ Certificate in Jewish Leadership through Spertus and Northwestern and studied at Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies as a Senior Educator Leadership Fellow. Beri serves as Executive Director of the Dallas Jewish Historical Society, president of the Dallas Genealogical Society, and is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists.
