About me
Onward Hebrew is on a mission to improve Hebrew teaching and learning in part-time/synagogue settings. It has flipped the traditional teaching model by honoring how children learn languages - sounds first (hearing language) and then decoding/reading (print) using research-based teaching strategies. Directors that have adopted/adapted the Onward Hebrew approach say that it brings energy and enthusiasm to Hebrew learning. More so, research has shown that Onward Hebrew students feel a warm connection to Hebrew AND develop into competent and confident "pray-ers."
